Neuroscience, described by Eric Kandel as the “ultimate challenge” of the biological sciences, is a highly comprehensive and interdisciplinary field that seeks to understand the biological basis of learning, memory, behavior, perception, and consciousness. By bringing together the knowledge and methodologies of diverse scientific disciplines, neuroscience continues to advance rapidly and expand the boundaries of our understanding of the brain.
The “Neuroscience from Laboratory to Clinic” Workshop has been designed as a comprehensive scientific meeting that addresses both the fundamental and clinical dimensions of neuroscience through an integrative perspective. The workshop aims to combine theoretical knowledge with practical insights, providing participants with an opportunity to follow the latest scientific developments while interacting with researchers from various disciplines.
The workshop aims to bring together researchers from different parts of the world working in the fields of physiology, anatomy, biophysics, neurology, psychiatry, genetics, dentistry, and public health. Our goal is to create a productive scientific platform where current and emerging topics in neuroscience can be discussed, and where new perspectives, methods, and technologies can be shared.
In line with this vision, the workshop will host distinguished scientists and leading researchers who have made remarkable contributions to the field of neuroscience and who bring innovative perspectives and technologies to both basic and clinical research.
The workshop is expected to host approximately 300 participants, including a significant number of oral and poster presentations. Researchers who wish to present their work are kindly encouraged to pay close attention to the early abstract submission deadlines.
In addition to the scientific program, various social events will be organized to foster open discussion and exchange of ideas among participants from different countries, cities, and academic generations. Through these activities, we aim to strengthen scientific communication and encourage the development of new collaborations.
Furthermore, thanks to the workshop support provided by the European Molecular Biology Organization, a considerable number of travel grants will be available. Early-career researchers and students are strongly encouraged to apply for travel support during the application process.
We would be delighted to welcome you to this workshop where scientific exchange, collaboration, and new ideas will come together.
Sincerely,
Fazile Cantürk Tan - Ferhat Pektaş
